Pen Underwriting has combined its hospitality and leisure liability team with general liability as it looks to strengthen its business in the liability space.

Liability Manager Paul Behm and Technical Underwriting Manager Paul Belford will jointly lead the consolidated structure in the Gallagher-owned underwriting agency.

Mr Behm will oversee distribution, broker relationships and client services, and Mr Belford is in charge of shaping product offerings, providing technical support and managing Pen’s various specialty portfolios.

“We have two strong liability teams,” CEO Ken Keenan said. “While they operate in different sectors, it makes sense to merge both to capitalise on our collective strength.

“Our combined team will have significant market clout and deep expertise across the whole spectrum of liability risks.”
