Macquarie Life outperforms market for fourth year

Macquarie Life has been awarded five stars in the Beaton Benchmarks study – the only insurer to achieve this status in each of the four years the benchmark research has been conducted.

The study of more than 1000 advisers gave Macquarie a satisfaction rating of 82.1% compared to the industry average of 78.5%.

Beaton Head of Research Rebecca Sheils says the level of performance above the industry average is significant.

“Having achieved a five-star rating for four years in succession, they continue to set the benchmark for adviser service and support,” she said.

Macquarie was ranked first in the call centre, administration and communications categories while also being highly rated in the products category.

Head of Macquarie Life Justin Delaney says the rating reflects the life insurer’s strengths in these areas.

“From day one, delivering high quality support and service to our advisers has been a consistent priority for the Macquarie Life team,” he said.
