Insurance supplier goes into administration
Risk survey consultant ICPS Australia has gone into voluntary administration.
ICPS conducts risk and compliance audits, property damage surveys and cladding investigations for the insurance industry. It has offices in Queensland, NSW, Victoria and SA.
Lee Crosthwaite and Chris Cook from Worrells Solvency and Forensic Accountants have been appointed as administrators.
A first meeting of company creditors will be held tomorrow at Worrells’ offices in Brisbane. The creditors will decide whether to appoint a committee of inspectors. A second meeting will likely be held on October 18.
Worrells Manager Phillip Stark told insuranceNEWS.com.au he hasn’t received any offers for the company, but is taking inquiries from interested parties.
Further investigations are required to determine the best course of action, he says.
