Berkshire Hathaway Insurance Australia CEO Blair Nicholls has left the company to take up an undisclosed role elsewhere.

Mr Nicholls has held the position since 2014, and told insuranceNEWS.com.au he cannot divulge his new job for another month.

He was also MD of Berkshire Hathaway Reinsurance International in Australia.
