IAG's Hill points to 'valuable product offerings'
IAG Intermediated Insurance Australia Group Executive Jarrod Hill has pointed to the importance of valuable product offerings that are digitally enabled as he takes up the new role.
CEO Nick Hawkins confirmed last week that Mr Hill had started at IAG, after it was announced in March that he would move across from Chubb, where he was Australia and New Zealand President for the past three years. Previously he was with Ace Insurance.
Mr Hill began his insurance career in the early 1990s with Commercial Union, which became CGU in 1998.
“I’m looking forward to working with partners and the IAG team to keep Australians and their businesses safe with simple, valuable product offerings that are digitally enabled, and which deliver sustainable and profitable growth to Australian businesses and provide protection for individuals,” he said last week.
IAG said in November last year that it was splitting its Australian insurance operations into two, and has since stressed the need for an improved performance from the intermediated business.
