Insurtech investor Greenlight Re is investing in New Zealand insurtech Cove Limited.

Cove is a personal lines digital MGA that enables customers to buy insurance products through a mobile or desktop platform. It is the ninth investment made by Greenlight Re.

Cove’s tech-driven business model has the potential to transform New Zealand’s insurance market, Greenlight CEO Simon Burton says.

“Consumers are demanding a fully online experience, and Cove has delivered it for motor and mobile phone insurance. We look forward to supporting Cove as it develops new product offerings.”
