Case managers launch new initiative in Victoria
Gallagher Bassett has launched a new mobile case management model in Victoria to facilitate return-to-work and provide extra support to injured workers and their employers.
The new scheme will see case managers visit workers with musculoskeletal injuries to help them plan their return to work, explain the workers’ compensation process, approve any appropriate treatment and provide general support.
The Victorian model was developed over the past eight months in consultation with the company’s SA mobile case management team.
Gallagher Bassett was the first entity to pilot and launch mobile case management services in SA in 2013.
It has also worked with ReturnToWorkSA to help develop major legislative changes.
