The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has named three finalists for the QBE-sponsored NSW/ACT broker of the year award.

They are John Dunk from Dunk Insurance Brokers, Ian Hopper of Domina General Insurance Brokers and Daniel Johnson from Insurance House Group.

NIBA will announce the winner at its Connect Day awards lunch in Sydney on July 15, when the NSW/ACT young broker of the year will also be named.

The regional broker of the year will compete with four other state and territory finalists for the inaugural Stephen Ball Memorial Award at the NIBA Convention in Melbourne in September. The award comes with a prize worth $20,000.

NIBA announced the Victoria/Tasmania finalists in May.
