‘One of the industry’s nicest guys’: Steadfast technology veteran retires

Steadfast Technologies EGM Platforms Business Development Orlando Trujillo-Ramirez has retired and plans to pursue his love of farming.

Mr Trujillo-Ramirez was GM Operations for 11 years from early 2009 before moving to his current role, based in Sydney.

“A Steadfast legend is retiring to farm his cattle,” Steadfast EGM Asia, New Zealand & Direct Allan Reynolds said. “It has been a pleasure working with you over the past 15 years.”

That LinkedIn post attracted 55 comments, praising Mr Trujillo-Ramirez for his friendship, “massive contribution” to the business, help and support over the many years, sense of humour – and even being “the best dancer in the entire insurance industry”.

“Today we farewell a Steadfast Tech legend. Orlando Trujillo-Ramirez you will be missed! Enjoy retirement,” Steadfast EGM Technology Chris Rouse said.

“Congratulations Orlando. You are really one of the industry’s nicest guys. Have a great retirement,” Berkley Insurance Australia CEO Tony Wheatley said.

“All the best Orlando – was always an absolute pleasure (with a lot of laughs) working with you,” Allianz Australia National Relationship Manager Heath Francis said.

“Legend is an understatement,” SafetyCulture Care Development Underwriter Tony Tahche said.

“Well done Orlando – a wonderful innings! Wishing you a long, happy and healthy retirement on the farm,” AIG Australia Head of Portfolio Solutions Peter Bailey posted.
