NIBA brings ‘industry-leading insights’ to ACT members
The National Insurance Brokers Association will hold an event in Canberra to discuss challenges and opportunities for the industry, and says a new ACT subcommittee is stepping up engagement in the region.
The May 21 meeting will include an update from association CEO Richard Klipin and a panel discussion exploring regulatory shifts, client expectations in a changing risk environment, innovations shaping products and services, and maintaining growth and trust in a competitive market.
NIBA says it is part of a broader commitment to ensure brokers from all parts of the country have a strong voice, opportunities for connection and access to industry-leading insights.
“Brokers represent their communities across Australia,” president Nick Cook said. “NIBA believes in bringing together brokers no matter where they are located – this more than ever includes our regional brokers, who play a critical role as trusted partners in helping their communities to thrive.”
Panellists will include Mr Klipin, Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers director Helen Bullock, AEI Insurance Broking Group account manager Emily-Rose Srbinovska and PSC Insurance Group managing principal Karl Truijens.
A question-and-answer session will be followed by networking drinks. The event – also aimed at underwriters, risk managers and other industry professionals – is at the National Press Club from 4pm-6pm. More details are available here.
