Elliott Insurance starts new journey as ‘green broker’
Elliott Insurance has unveiled new branding as “The Green Broker” as it commits to climate-sustainable operations.
The WA-based brokerage says the new tagline represents the firm’s continued commitments to sustainability projects, including a net zero by 2030 goal.
As part of the commitment, Elliott Insurance announced a collaboration with carbon emission accounting firm Climate Clever to help deliver strategies to reduce its carbon footprint.
It has also launched a revamped website and says it will offer new products through its Virtual Broking Service that are “designed with sustainability at its core”.
“It’s not just about supporting those in the sustainability industries but also the companies that are choosing to participate regardless of their industry,” Elliott Insurance said.
Owner John Elliott also announced the firm will work with sustainability training group Seed Culture to offer 100 seats to its education platform.
“As we embark on this journey, we understand the importance of education in sustainability,” Mr Elliott wrote on LinkedIn.
“This initiative is designed to empower our clients, suppliers, and supporters, helping them embrace and understand their own sustainability paths.”
The brokerage launched the rebranding at its “Spirit of Adventure” event in Perth last week, with guest speakers including expeditionist Dr Geoff Wilson.
