Broking CEO ‘stands up’ against family violence
Domo Insurance CEO William Dunn is taking part in a charity campaign against family violence during the AFL finals.
As part of You Matter’s Stand Up in September event, the charity has compiled a “top eight” of men from a range of industries who will “stand up” against violence that can worsen during major sporting events.
“At domo, we’re passionate about supporting our community,” Mr Dunn said. “By standing up in September, we hope to help raise awareness among men that it’s our responsibility to address family violence in the community and to be part of the solution.
“By being a part of the conversation, we hope that one day every person and family in Melbourne will have a home to go to that’s safe and free from violence.”
The Stand Up in September event takes place tonight at The Union House in Richmond, Melbourne. It features VFA legend and family violence activist Phil Cleary as guest speaker.
