Convention smashes charity record as next year’s location revealed
A record $512,000 was raised for charity Free 3D Hands at the Steadfast Convention gala dinner on Tuesday night.
More than 1600 guests attended the “night at the theatre” themed event, bringing the three-day convention to a close.
Steadfast recognised “the generosity of our brokers, strategic partners and service providers” in raising the huge total.
The convention began on Sunday night with a welcome session at the Showtime Events Centre in Melbourne.
Keynote speakers on Monday and Tuesday included Olympic champion and world record-holding swimmer Ariarne Titmus and her coach Dean Boxall, Lloyd’s chief commercial officer Dawn Miller, and Luxury Escapes co-founder Adam Schwab.
Next year’s convention will take place on the Gold Coast.
