Assistant Treasurer Chris Bowen has announced two appointments to the board of the Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation (ARPC).

Economist Patricia Azarias joins the six-member board, while Treasury Markets Group Executive Director Jim Murphy has been reappointed.

The ARPC administers the Government’s terrorism insurance scheme – a temporary provider of commercial terrorism coverage.
