Scholarship winner bound for London
Victor Caballero of Zurich Financial Services Australia has won the 2009 Aon Benfield Scholarship.
The win entitles him to a seat at the Aon Benfield Global Clients Reinsurance Seminar in London for two weeks in September.
Special commendations were awarded to Andrew Bojkowski of the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority and Julie Walsh of Suncorp Insurance.
The applicants had to submit a 2500-word essay on the lessons for the insurance and reinsurance industry following the Victorian bushfires.
Now in its fifth year, the scholarship was established by Aon Benfield and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).
