Budget Direct, CGU and Suncorp-owned Bingle have won Canstar’s national award for outstanding value car insurance.

All three offer below-market-average premiums, the consumer ratings group says.

Budget Direct retains the award for the 12th consecutive year, while Bingle has won for a second year running.

Each offers emergency accommodation and repairs, towing, cab fares after an accident and a lifetime repair guarantee. They also offer non-nominated driver cover.
