Zurich Life and Investments has made several key appointments in its operational team, combining its underwriting and claims team as well as that of OnePath under one leadership structure.

The business acquired OnePath from ANZ last year.

The insurer announced today that Peter Tilocca, most recently OnePath Chief Underwriter, is appointed Chief Underwriting Officer and Joanne Faglioni will take on the newly created Chief Claims Officer role.

Sheriff Hamza is named Head of Retail Claims, Jennifer Faglioni is appointed Head of Group Claims and Tina Beilby will fill the newly created position of Head of Operations and Integration.

“These appointments are a next step in our journey of integrating our Zurich and OnePath operational teams, so they may share best practice and work more effectively within their combined functions,” Zurich and OnePath’s COO Gavin Pearce says.

“The structure has been designed to support excellent customer and adviser service outcomes.”
