The Financial Services Council presented excellence awards to six industry executives at last week’s Leaders Summit in Sydney.

CEO Sally Loane says the winners “have demonstrated professionalism and leadership in our industry in support of policy development, regulatory balance, research programs and industry initiatives”.

The recipients are:

• Chad Downie (TAL Life Head of Legal Corporate and Financial Services)
• Pascal Marcelis (Commonwealth Senior Manager Advocacy and Regulatory Affairs)
• Tom Gordon (AIA Australia Technical Partnerships Manager)
• Caroline James (ANZ Wealth Australia Head of Assurance and Compliance)
• Helen Brady (NAB Wealth Manager Industry Liaison, Government Affairs)
• Philip Barlin (Commonwealth Executive Manager Group Taxation).

BT Financial Group Senior Product Technical Manager Life Insurance Brendan Bowen and ANZ Wealth Australia National Manager Strategic Product Scott Brayshaw received special commendations. Commonwealth Private EGM Marianne Perkovic received an industry contribution award.
