Reinsurance Group of America says Alissa Holz will become CEO for Australia and New Zealand next month.

Ms Holz is currently deputy CEO and senior VP, according to her LinkedIn. She will join the RGA Australia board under her new role.

“Alissa’s deep industry knowledge, strategic vision and proven leadership skills make her the ideal person to spearhead our efforts in the market and deliver exceptional value to our clients and stakeholders,” EVP and head of Asia-Pacific Arthur Ozeki said.

As part of the leadership change, Australia and New Zealand MD Mark Stewart will become senior VP and chief actuary for Asia-Pacific.

His responsibilities will include oversight of RGA India and regional underwriting, medical and claims, plus existing duties in regional pricing, risk management and valuation.
