CommInsure has partnered with technology company UnderwriteMe Australia to provide simpler online life insurance applications.

“We have delivered an intuitive experience that is simple and easy for customers, and efficient for advisers,” Head of Life Distribution Olivia Sarah-Le Lacheur said.

CommInsure says the service removes complexity and offers transparency and flexibility, after advisers engaged in the design process stressed the importance of plain language and relevant questions.

UnderwriteMe started in the UK as a joint venture between a team of industry experts and reinsurer Pacific Life Re, and has expanded into Asia and Australia.

“Our technology makes it really easy to transform the buying experience, as well as providing valuable data allowing insurers to prioritise further developments,” UnderwriteMe Australia Business Development Director Rakesh Kaul said.
