The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has backed a smartphone app that allows motor claims to be submitted in less than 10 minutes and aims to cut claims costs and reduce the 23-day average claims reporting time by up to 90%.

Claims Made Easy, created by Insure Apps, allows recording of key information such as GPS, photos, and police, witness and third-party details.

It is available to BIBA members at discounted rates.

Insure Apps MD Stephen Marshall says Claims Made Easy “will transform the way drivers, insurance brokers and insurers handle claims”.

The app is licensed to BIBA members to use with clients. They can receive their own branded service within 24 hours of signing up.
