Aboriginal funeral insurer Youpla will now give evidence.

Youpla, under its previous name Aboriginal Community Benefit Fund, was heavily criticised during the Hayne royal commission.

It is now under new ownership, CEO Bryn Jones tells MPs. 

Mr Jones and Worimi man Isaac Simon each purchased a 50% stake in the company.

Mr Wilson says Hayne's assessment of Youpla was "pretty scathing". Mr Jones says he was "made the poster-boy of the royal commission, rightly or wrongly".

Mr Jones says no new sales are currently taking place, due to changes in legislation and an AFSL application which is awaiting approval, so the company's website is currently not live.
