Dr Leigh criticises the motor refunds being in the form of gift vouchers. He suggests Mr Bhatia would not like to receive his "executive bonus" in the form of a gift card.
Mr Bhatia says it is the easiest way to get refunds to customers and the cards are a cash equivalent - they are not specific to any particular store. He also says that the refund is given to all policy-holders, they do not have to apply for it.
