IAG MD Peter Harmer is giving an opening statement, covering off the royal commission, bushfire claims, and COVID-19.

He firstly makes clear that IAG is not involved in add-on insurance, which was criticised during the royal commission, any more.

IAG had 12000 bushfire claims and 62% of claims are finalised. IAG's partner builders are helping customers "rebuild their homes and lives".

Regarding COVID-19, he flags IAG's customer support measures. IAG was the first insurer to unveil such initiatives for SMEs, and this week anounced further measures for domestic customers.
