McLardy McShane reshapes top team amid growth push
McLardy McShane has restructured its management team, making key appointments.
Nick McLardy has been promoted to chief growth officer, overseeing expansion and market opportunities for the group’s joint venture and authorised representative networks. He was previously national manager of broking.
Former PSC western regional manager Janine Shipton has joined as chief technology and innovation officer, a new role at the company.
COO Meg Long and CFO Nick Towns complete the executive team.
McLardy McShane welcomed more than 35 authorised representatives over the past year and now writes more than $700 million in gross premium.
“We have seen an annual growth rate of 35% over the past five years, which is something we’re really proud of, but also something we don’t foresee slowing down any time soon,” CEO Don McLardy said. “This restructure ... allows us to continue to handle a high growth rate.
“However, despite the rapid growth, we are focused and determined not to lose the non-corporate, accessible, unique and enjoyable culture for which we are renowned throughout the industry.”
He says Ms Shipton’s experience will “create a further competitive advantage for the company”.
