Centrepoint gets a new chairman
Alan Fisher has been appointed non-executive director and Chairman of Centrepoint Alliance, with Rick Nelson stepping down.
Board member Matthew Kidman has also stepped down, with a replacement to be appointed soon.
Mr Fisher has been chairman of Australian Renewable Fuels, and is a former CEO of cleaning product group Pental and corporate finance partner with Coopers & Lybrand.
MD John de Zwart has praised Mr Nelson as “a great leader” who was “at the core of the group’s rejuvenation and turnaround over the past few years”.
Centrepoint is one of the largest non-institutionally owned financial services organisations in Australia, and has a significant insurance premium funding operation.
