Maple moves to cover influencers
Insurance Advisernet authorised representative Maple Insurance has partnered with the Australian Influencer Marketing Council on an industry-first group offering for members.
Maple says it will provide influencers with “carefully crafted general insurance and risk protection services” including public indemnity, public and private liability, cyber protection, directors’ and management liability, and corporate travel insurance.
Council members will also have access to risk reduction advice from consulting groups.
Maple MD Adam Sulway says the package aims to create a “competitive playing field for influencers and content marketers by improving their risk awareness, reducing insurance costs and providing ‘big insurance house’ scale of advice and solutions, but with the care factor and approachability of a small, local adviser”.
Influencer council MD Patrick Whitnall says the partnership is a “major milestone” for his industry.
“Influencer marketing is a fast-paced, evolving landscape, making insurance and risk protection more important than ever,” he said. “This offering can provide significant savings on insurance to our members, removing the hefty cost barrier that often prevents them from obtaining policies and advice.”
