Budget Direct rebrands in line with ‘growth trajectory’
Budget Direct plans to double in size in the next few years and is soon to unveil a new life insurance offering.
MD and CEO Ram Kangatharan says the company is relaunching its brand today to reflect the wide range of products it offers. “We’re on a growth trajectory,” he said.
Budget Direct has a staff of 900 and 600,000 policies.
It aims to double profit to about $100 million in three to four years, a spokesman for parent company Auto & General told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
It will be more aggressive in the general insurance market and is relaunching a life product underwritten by Hannover Re.
Budget Direct recently launched a personal accident product underwritten by AIG and a health insurance product underwritten by GMHBA.
