Austbrokers Sydney and QBE marine executive Neil Hiller are to open a specialist marine and logistics insurance joint venture in March.

Mr Hiller will quit as QBE’s GM Marine Specialty Risk next year, leaving Tim Air at the helm. (See other story)

Austbrokers Sydney parent AUB Group says the joint venture will utilise Mr Hiller’s extensive knowledge of risk management, insurance underwriting and broking to provide a holistic approach to marine and logistics risks.

It will help clients identify, eliminate, mitigate and transfer risk, the company says.
