Austbrokers appoints in-house lawyer
Austbrokers has appointed Justin Coss as Group Legal Counsel following the establishment of an in-house capability.
Mr Coss is currently General Counsel and Company Secretary at Austbrokers’ member InterRISK. He will start on August 1 on an initial six-month secondment.
He has 20 years’ insurance-related legal expertise, including eight years in the London market.
He sits on the National Insurance Brokers Association Regulatory Affairs Committee, and serves as NSW President of the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association.
Mr Coss will report to CFO Jodie Blackledge, who took over from retiring Steve Rouvray last week.
