Argyle, Mitsui form SME capacity pact

Digital underwriting agency Argyle Insurance has struck a multi-year capacity agreement with Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance.

The agency will start providing SME insurance packages with an extended combined limit of up to $7 million from January 1.

“This collaboration underscores our commitment to supporting SMEs in Australia through our intermediated distribution partners,” Argyle CEO and co-founder Matthew Morgan said. “We are very excited to explore all opportunities in the Australian market, as we embark on the next phase of our growth journey alongside MSI.”

Mitsui Sumitomo Oceania GM Tomoyuki Komagome says the partners are “creating a seamless platform for broker distribution and operations, allowing for faster analysis and improved communication”.
