Gatto to join Mann at JLT
Well-known Willis GM Placement Services, Risk Services and Claims Maurice Gatto has resigned to join JLT as GM Broking and National Placement.
JLT says Melbourne-based Mr Gatto will report directly to JLT’s Chairman Specialty and National Placement Bob Mann.
“Maurice has an exceptional reputation as one of Australia’s leading brokers and is highly respected within the industry and clients alike,” Mr Mann told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
It’s understood Mr Gatto will join the JLT team mid-year after “completing his commitments to Willis”.
Mr Gatto resigned from Willis in February 2012 to join Aon, where Mr Mann was chief broking officer at the time. He withdrew his resignation later that year after Mr Mann announced his decision to move from Aon to JLT.
