This free event is a (re)insurance industry initiative to coordinate an annual gathering to present new ideas and content driven discussion on the understanding of natural perils, capital sources, their direct impact on the insurance market and how Australia funds insurance risk. CARS seeks to achieve several key objectives:

• a forum for open discussion, a level of education and discussion that is independent and free to attend for all participants 
• to enable up-and-comers in the industry to mix and meet with the veterans, the thought leaders and the decision makers to shape the industry.

The event is open to reinsurance buyers, brokers, underwriters, fund managers, catastrophe modellers, claims specialists, risk scientists, actuaries and government professionals working in the Australian insurance market.
