Presented by Angus Abadee, Director of Building and Construction Policy for the NSW Government, this event will take stock of the state of the construction industry as it is today in NSW and consider what is in the pipeline for the future.

 Particular consideration will be given to:

• how the changes and events of last 3 years have altered the strength of the industry (with particular emphasis on the quality of construction and prevalence of defects);
• whether further government reforms and initiatives are under consideration and if so, what they are likely to be; and
• whether, and if so how, the recent pressure points (such as supply constraints and insolvencies) are likely to influence the further government reforms and initiatives under consideration (including the timing of them).

A panel discussion on the industry and insurance lived experience (and future predictions) will then follow with:
