Zurich has appointed Matthew O’Sullivan as Head of Motor and Marine for Australia and New Zealand.

He has been head of marine in Australia and New Zealand and Asia-Pacific marine lead since April last year, and acting head of motor since April this year.

“With his experience and energy, it’s a straightforward decision to bring two complementary business lines together under his leadership,” General Insurance Chief Underwriting Officer Sean Walker said.

Mr O’Sullivan joined Zurich in 2014 as head of marine, property and engineering lines.
