Zurich Australia’s NSW State Distribution Manager James Stack has resigned to take up a new position at Allianz.

Mr Stack has worked for Zurich in a number of roles for 17 years.

He will become Head of Market Management at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, answering to the division’s CEO Holger Schaefer.

It is understood he will take up the new job in September.

Meanwhile, Zurich Head of Commercial Underwriting Nick Dendrinos has been appointed to a new role, as Head of Motor and Compulsory Third Party Australia and New Zealand.

It follows Zurich’s decision to abolish his current position. State commercial managers will in future answer to EGM Commercial Adrian Riminton.

Mr Dendrinos will report to Chief Underwriting Officer, General Insurance Australia and New Zealand Sean Walker.
