Zurich shuffles its NZ management
Zurich New Zealand has announced four promotions and appointments to senior positions.
Richard Upton has been made New Zealand Underwriting Manager, Financial Lines and Casualty. He was previously senior financial lines and casualty underwriter. He will lead an underwriting team responsible for Zurich’s entire New Zealand business in this space.
Kelsey Stadtlander takes the new role of Broker Relationship Leader New Zealand, responsible for engagement strategies with broking partners and alignment in Zurich’s “go-to-market approach” across all lines of business.
Helen Shen will become Marine Underwriter after Carrie Schuster was transferred to Zurich’s Manchester office in the UK, while Lisa Jooste is promoted to Senior Motor Underwriter.
Zurich New Zealand GM Brett Wainhouse says the market is in a transformative period and the insurer is working to ensure the right people with the right capabilities are in place to support customers and brokers.
