Zurich has appointed Giles Crowley as EGM Global Corporate for Australia and New Zealand, effective from next month.

Mr Crowley joined Zurich in 1996, holding roles in underwriting and program management in the UK before moving to Tokyo in 2011 as head of global corporate Japan.

CEO General Insurance Australia and New Zealand Daniel Fogarty says Mr Crowley has a track record of creating, developing and managing business relationships.

“His comprehensive technical knowledge, people management skills and innovative problem-solving capabilities will deliver the results our customers and brokers need from an insurer in today’s market,” he said.
