Zenith raises $14,000 for cancer charity
Perth-based broker Zenith Insurance Services last month held a one-day golf charity event, raising about $14,077 for Solaris Cancer Care, a community-based healthcare organisation.
Matching donations from Z Zurich Foundation, the broker’s partner for Red Sky Ride Golf Day on January 20, took the overall amount raised to $28,155.20, Zenith says in a LinkedIn post.
“Solaris relies on public support to provide important personalised care for people and their loved ones in their journey with cancer,” Zenith said. “We are proud to support such an important service for the people of WA.”
CGU Insurance also supported the fundraiser.
Zenith founder Kim Gilbert is training for next month’s Red Sky Ride, an annual cycling event he co-started in 2008 to raise funds for Solaris Care Centre.
