XL Catlin staff give globally
XL Catlin held its Global Day of Giving – a company-wide employee volunteer day dedicated to supporting the communities in which XL Catlin operates – last Thursday.
Since its inception in 2006, XL Catlin employees have performed more than 210,000 hours of community service on charitable projects around the world.
This year more than 250 projects were scheduled in 70 locations worldwide, covering diverse issues such as homelessness, hunger, unemployment, education, youth development, senior care and the environment.
In Sydney 80 XL Catlin employees attended YMCA Camp Yarramundi, an outdoor education venue, on the heritage-listed Grose River in the Hawkesbury Valley to help refurbish camp facilities.
