XL Catlin has appointed Sydney-based Max Broodryk as Product Leader of Cyber Risk, International Financial Lines for Asia-Pacific. 

Mr Broodryk will be responsible for underwriting management and development of cyber and data protection in the region and will continue to be based in Sydney. He reports to Regional Manager, International Financial Lines in Asia Pacific, Timothy Powell.

Mr Broodryk has more than 20 years’ industry experience. He joins from Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty in Australia, where he was regional underwriting manager.

Before Allianz he worked at QBE and AIG in Asia and New Zealand.
