WR Berkley Insurance Australia has appointed two state managers and a senior underwriter.

It has promoted Kathleen Warden to the role of NSW State Manager.

Ms Warden, who has been with the group for about a year, will continue to oversee directors’ and officers’ insurance nationally while managing the state’s marketing and underwriting.

The new Queensland State Manager is Paul Kelly, who was previously at Marsh and RJ Neville.

“Paul has extensive experience in a broad range of product classes and will focus on developing our general liability portfolio in Queensland,” CEO Tony Wheatley said.

WR Berkley has also appointed Aimee Pozoglou as Senior Underwriter. She was formerly with Dual.

“We do not force brokers down the systems route,” Mr Wheatley said. “We employ underwriters who can deal with enquiries and provide fast turnaround times.”
