Law firm Wotton + Kearney has appointed Geoff Russell to the newly created role of Claims Solutions and Operations Manager.

Mr Russell has worked at IAG, Lumley and AAMI in claims manager roles, and has overseen liability, casualty, compulsory third party and long-tail portfolios, the firm says.

In his most recent role at IAG he was team leader of liability claims, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Chief Executive Partner David Kearney says Wotton + Kearney sought someone with deep industry experience to provide client-side perspectives and operational expertise.
