Specialist insurance law firm Wotton + Kearney has announced several personnel appointments and a new office for their Adelaide operations as it continues its expansion in the region.   

The firm announced two new partners, Cheryl Phillips and Bill Conor, as well as the hiring of four new team members.   

Ms Phillips, who joins from MinterEllison, holds experience across several insurance law areas, including personal injury claims and dust diseases litigation, and advises for life insurance and motor vehicle accident claims.    

Mr Conor specialises in financial line issues, including general professional indemnity matters, construction PI, and D&O claims. He also advises on property damage and business interruption claims. He joins W+K from Barry.Nilsson Lawyers.   

The firm announced that it will move to a new office to accommodate the growing team and will now be based at 25 Grenfell Street.   

The announcement comes just weeks after the appointment of Richard Leder and a team of six to W+K’s Melbourne offices, with the firm describing the most recent move as the “latest chapter in its growth story”.
