Law firm Wotton + Kearney says Marie-Clare Elder and Claudine Watson-Kyme have joined its health team as Partners.

Ms Elder specialises in health, medical negligence and personal injury litigation. She has practised in Australia and the UK in senior in-house roles and is a former clinical nurse specialist in intensive care.

She was most recently Senior Legal Counsel – Manager Legal Services at MIGA, where she led the eastern seaboard team and was responsible for general legal advice and litigated claims, coronial inquests, disciplinary and employment matters.

Ms Watson-Kyme is a health law specialist with extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution. She was most recently Manager of Cases and Advisory Services at MDA National.

“With the addition of [them], our national health team offers the market practical experience and a lean and flexible service approach it’s been waiting for,” Chief Executive Partner David Kearney said.
