Specialist broker Aerosure Asia Pacific and global partner Willis have won the Best Corporate Project prize at the Australian Airports Association’s National Airport Industry Awards.

The pair topped a field of 12 nominees with their “Parallel Runways” program, which allows collective purchasing of aviation liability insurance by eight airport corporations with 14 sites in Australasia and the Pacific region.

Aerosure Asia Pacific MD Greg Rector says his company is proud to receive recognition for the project.

“The efforts of participating airports will have flow-on impacts for the rest of the industry and will deliver cost savings for those not involved [by placing a ceiling on insurance costs],” he said.
