Brokers under 35 only have a few weeks left to submit their entries for the annual Warren Tickle Memorial Award.

The award, which honours Australia’s first Insurance Commissioner, recognises outstanding standards of professionalism and integrity among brokers aged under 35. Applicants must be members of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA).

Nominations close on April 29.

Finalists are selected from each of five regions, and state winners receive airfares and accommodation to attend a personal development workshop in Sydney, as well as registration fees to attend the NIBA convention in September, where the overall winner will be announced.

The grand prize, provided by long-time sponsor Vero, includes a return flight for two to London incorporating an educational program, five nights’ accommodation and spending money.
