WorkCover WA will hold its annual insurance brokers’ breakfast seminar next month.

The event on April 19 is aimed at brokers who have not yet attended a session. It will focus on how they interact with the workers’ compensation and injury management scheme.

CEO Michelle Reynolds and other executives will explain how premium rates are set, how the compliance section operates and how brokers can ensure clients meet their obligations.

QBE Regional Manager WA and NT Steve Burns will discuss the interaction between insurer, broker and client, and National Insurance Brokers Association WA Chairman Marcus Pobjoy will outline the Insurance Brokers Code of Practice.
