Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) has appointed Wayne Kenafacke as Chief Performance Officer, effective January 18.

He replaces Bart Clingin, who held the role on an interim basis.

As the Victorian Government’s insurer and risk adviser, VMIA partners with public sector clients to provide risk advice and insurance cover.

Mr Kenafacke will lead VMIA’s finance, actuarial and transformation functions, partnering with the executive and supporting the board to provide advice and insight.

He has 25 years’ experience in insurance and also has expertise across funds management, retail banking and financial advice.

VMIA also recently appointed Angela Kelly as Chief Insurance Officer.
