Vietnam a popular choice for claims convention

Record numbers of claims professionals are expected to attend the Asia Claims Convention in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, next month.

Organised by the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA) in partnership with the Singapore College of Insurance and the Malaysian Insurance Institute, the convention will cover a diverse range of topics presented by specialists from around the world.

AICLA CEO Tony Libke says early bookings for the convention, which has the theme “the interconnected world of claims”, are well above the trend of previous years.

“Vietnam is a terrific place to hold a conference like this, but I wasn’t sure how it would appeal to our wide catchment of Asian delegates,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au. “But early registrations show Ho Chi Minh City and the Caravelle Hotel are very popular choices.”

The convention brings together loss adjusters, insurance lawyers, claims specialists and industry representatives from across Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Early bird registrations for the convention on April 19-21 at the historic Caravelle Saigon Hotel will close on March 21.
